Whistler Off-Road Cycling Association

A community-led organization that brings the mountain biking community together, fosters the evolution of the sport through youth programs, and employs experienced trail builders and staff to construct, maintain, and advocate for Whistler’s mountain bike trails for over 30 years.

WORCA devotes significant energy and resources to their comprehensive and successful trail maintenance programs. The Whistler area is home to an extensive and world-renowned network of mountain bike trails, ranging from smooth double-track gravel to very challenging and technical single-track. The trails are a great resource for the local community and the tourism industry. Without ongoing maintenance, repairs and protection we risk losing this incredible amenity to erosion, degradation and in some cases competing land use.

Events

  • Back Forty - June 10

    • An annual mountain bike race that brings the NIMBY Fifty’s legacy of good times and wicked riding to a new venue and course in the heart of Whistler. Proceeds from the Back Forty go towards new trail construction in Whistler and mountain bike programming for the Indigenous Life Sport Academy. More info here.

  • Toonie Race

    • Most weeks during the summer, WORCA hosts Thursday night Toonie Rides with different local businesses and organizations sponsoring each ride. The Toonies Rides are great for mixing and mingling with our vibrant mountain biking community. Ride hard for the challenge, or ride with friends for fun. When the ride is over, meet at Après to share tall tales with old and new friends. However you ride, it’s guaranteed to be a good time. More info here.
