Whistler hosts IRONMAN Canada with one of the world’s toughest triathlons winding its way around Whistler’s Valley Trails, pristine lakes and mountain roads. This race starts with a two-loop swim of Alta Lake, with a transition onto bikes for a ride to the Callaghan Valley and up to Pemberton. After the bike ride competitors gear up for a run via the Valley Trail winding around Whistler’s stunning Green Lake and Lost Lake finishing the competition at Whistler Olympic Plaza. This intense running course takes contestants off the road and into the forest running over rocks, roots, tree stumps, logs, up ski hills, through snow, puddles mud and more. Runners must find their way up some steep climbs, sharp descents and rough terrain as they race to the finish while enjoying the stunning views. This annual event brings riders from all over the world to take on 122 km ride from Vancouver to Whistler along the infamous Sea to Sky highway! Celebrate with these amazing riders as they cross the finish line at the Whistler Olympic Plaza and stay the night for GranFondo post-event celebrations.

Bring the family to the Edgewater Outdoor Centre on Green Lake for a FREE family fun event celebrating BC's rivers.
This classic 24 km run started in 1985! This event challenges runners as they ascend up a 1338 meter climb and proceed along some of the mountains most stunning trails. Runners take in some of the most spectacular view points of Black Tusk and Garibaldi Lake.
Make sure you start this ski and snowboard season off right with some new gear! Whistler’s largest blow out of top name brands is all on sale under one roof at the legendary Turkey Sale located at the base of Blackcomb Mountain throughout the whole weekend!
