Excellent Hotel

I travelled to Canada last year to visit a friend who lives in Vancouver. It was my first time in the country and we had planned lots of activities. My visit to Whistler was what I was looking forward to the most.
We arrived in Whistler early evening on a Friday, we arrived at the hotel and were greeted by a very pleasant receptionist who could not have been more helpful. We are also very delighted to find we had been upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite, Room 402. We were very impressed with the size of the room. Very spacious living room, full kitchen with dishwasher and 2 large bedrooms and a gorgeous walk in shower with heated floor. We had the most amazing view over both Whislter and Blackomb Mountain Gondolas. We were right in the heart of Whistler. We had our first meal at Monks Grill, good food, but out of the way and not busy at all... We headed back to hotel, on route we found The Longhorn bar, opposite our hotel. The staff were very friendly and atmosphere was fantastic. We had a few beers then headed off to the hotel for an early night. We were not disturbed by the noise from the street/bar below. We had the most amazing day/night on the Saturday and checked out Sunday with a hangover from hell. We returned to Whistler the following weekend, but could not get booked into the Sundial, full... Had to stay in a far less superior apartment, not a patch on Sundial.
I would highly recommend the Sundial and would happily stay there next time I visit.

Best stay in Whistler so far!

We visit and stay in Whistler 3 or 4 times a year and have stayed at various Whistler hotels. This hotel is the best so far! We had family visiting from the UK and spent the night in a 2 bedroom suite. Upon check-in we where told the roof top hot tub was out of order and were offered an upgrade to a 2 bedroom suite with balcony hot tub. Enjoyed a spacious suite with full kitchen and balcony. Roof top hot tub was fixed and ended up enjoying hot tubbing with gorgeous mountain views.

Overall an excellent hotel, great location right at the base of Whistler Mountain. We would definitely recommend and stay at the Sundial again.

Top Shelf Hotel

As most of the reviews have stated, the hotel was everything I expected. The Sundial really pays attention to detail. I really have no complaints regarding anything. My wife and I stayed in the One Bedroom Deluxe with Private Hot Tub. Suite 705 is by far the largest of the one bedroom suites; it has a private patio that has to be about 500 sq. ft. itself. The private patio has beautiful views of surrounding mountains and the tub was extremely clean. The room itself was perfect from the 'switch on' fireplaces to the heated slate bathroom floor. In the bedroom there was a large whirlpool Jacuzzi with small LCD television and a very comfortable king down bed. The kitchen was very modern with everything needed to go as far you want with cooking your own meals. The main living room had a LCD television with DVD player and Satellite channels. All of the staff were very polite and the front desk was very good at suggesting activities or fulfilling any needs.
All in all everything was perfect and we couldn't have gotten luckier choosing the Sundial Boutique. We had a fantastic time and would plan to return to the Sundial on a return trip. Lastly, the location of the Sundial couldn't be more centrally located. Its steps from the 2 gondola's and tons of eateries/coffee shops. You won't regret staying here!

Overall an excellent hotel, great location right at the base of Whistler Mountain. We would definitely recommend and stay at the Sundial again.
