EXPANDED WINEMAKER DINNER SERIES

DURING 10TH ANNUAL CORNUCOPIA NOVEMBER 9 – 12

Whistler, B.C. – Cornucopia’s newly expanded Winemaker Dinner Series offers more unparalleled adventures in gastronomy, as Whistler's renowned fine dining venues pair with a winery to present an exquisite dining experience that showcases featured wines.

Tourism Whistler celebrates a decade of culinary excellence with the tenth mouth watering edition of its Cornucopia Festival of Wine and Food (November 9 – 12). The four day event features the popular Winemaker Dinner Series on Friday November 10.

“We’re celebrating Cornucopia’s tenth anniversary with a program chock full of the elements that have earned Whistler its place on the international culinary event calendar,” says Michelle Payette, Manager of Events for Tourism Whistler. “The Winemaker Dinner Series this year features 14 restaurant and winery collaborations to ensure that as many participants as possible can enjoy this traditional sellout series.”

Each Winemaker Dinner offers its own unique and tantalizing presentation of wine and food such as the exciting dining experience in store when Araxi rolls out “The Big Guns – 25th Anniversary Edition”. The dinner will feature ten rare and remarkable wines, including a 1981 Chateau Beaucastle Chateauneuf du Pape, which shares both Araxi’s anniversary and the characteristic of improving with age. The evening kicks off with a Champagne reception featuring Nicolas Feuillatte "Cramant" Grand Cru 96, setting the stage for expertly paired regionally inspired dishes created by celebrated Executive Chef James Walt.

Cornucopia’s line up of Winemaker Dinners features equally innovative restaurant and winery teams inviting participants to indulge in a customized dining experience. Which to choose proves the greatest dilemma with fine offerings from:
