SUNDIAL BOUTIQUE HOTEL IN WHISTLER - PRESS RELEASES
WHISTLER'S MOUNTAINS OFFER LARGEST SNOW BASE IN NORTH AMERICA
Whistler, B.C. - With a 145 centimetre (57 inch) mid-mountain base,
5280
vertical feet of skiing and riding and more than 94 centimetres of new
snow
in the last week, Whistler's twin peaks, Whistler and Blackcomb
Mountains,
currently offer the biggest base, the most vertical and arguably the
best
early-season conditions in North America.
"Two weeks ago we were saying early season conditions were the best
we'd
seen in years," said Christopher Nicolson, Whistler Blackcomb Public
Relations manager. "Since then we've received nothing but more snow.
We
meant what we said two weeks ago and we really mean it now, especially
as
more terrain opens. Early season conditions are the best we've seen in
years."
